Over the years, there have been many people putting in lots of effort, knowledge, and wisdom toward making Ithaca a better place to live. And, one of the aspects that has been their focus is moving away from cars and their internal combustion engines as a necessity of life. It may be that their efforts are finally coming more in line with global forces — fuel prices, economic straits — and we’re going to see some more progress. This site is just one more drop in the bucket of change. Let’s together do what we can to make walking and biking more safe, accessible, acceptable, and fun for everyone.
